Founded in 1997, the Picasso Ensemble consists of a piano trio and mezzo-soprano, with frequent contributions from guest artists.  The ensemble performs regularly at Cabrillo College and at other locations throughout the San Francisco–Monterey Bay area.

The Picasso Ensemble Performs at the Sesnon House - Sunday, March 20th at 3:00 p.m.

The Picasso Ensemble will be performing at the historic Sesnon House located on the Cabrillo College campus on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at 3:00 p.m.

Musical highlights from the program include premiers of two pieces written for the Picasso Ensemble by San Francisco Bay Area composer, D'Arcy Reynolds ("Five Preludes"), and New York city composer, Valerie Capers (excerpts from "Ruby").

Also, music from Haydn (G Major Piano Trio), DeFalla (Suite Populare Espangnole) and Ravel (Le Tambeau de Couperin) will be presented. More »
